It returns an empty list if a user made the IAP on a different device. In contrast, queryPurchases() will give a list of purchases and their status, but only for the device. queryPurchaseHistoryAsync() give a list of PurchaseHistoryRecords, for all past purchases including canceled purchases, but does not provide the purchase status to determine if any of those are a completed or pending purchase. So now I have user specific information and do not need to have a restore button as I can re update their purchases when they get on a new device. My idea was to use a server to store whether the user has made a purchase. I've looked at methods, BillingClient.queryPurchases() and BillingClient.queryPurchaseHistoryAsync(). So when I restore the purchase it does not necessarily look at the current user but rather the device as a whole. I've looked for examples to restore a past purchase for a different device, but all the examples I've found are out dated referencing the AIDL methods. My app is following the purchase flow described within Google's documentation Tap the 'Reviews' tab and tap the 'App Support' link. To find the app, search for it in the App Store or tap 'Updates' at the bottom of the App Store, tap 'Purchases,' and tap the app in the list. In the event a user uninstalls the application or migrates to a new device, they have an option to recover their one-time past purchase. To do this, open the App Store and find the app you're trying to restore purchases in. I'm trying to provide a "Restore Purchase" option for my application. Open it and find the option to "Clear Cache"My application has a single one-time non-consumable IAP to turn off advertisement. There are 3 types of In-App Purchases that can be restored: Non-consumables: a type that customers purchase once.Go to the Apps section and find Toca Life: World.Whats a good window management app similar to PowerToys. Restart the app and your locations should show up. Ask HN: Why does Apple refuse to add window snapping to macOS.Open it and find the option to "Clear Cache".Go to the Apps section and find the "Amazon Appstore" app.You can always check the Appstore listing to see if there's an update waiting for you.Īdditional things to try on an Amazon device: Make sure that your app is running the latest version.Try logging out and then back into the Appstore and then relaunch the app to see if that helps. ![]()
